Sometimes you want to look nice but feel comfortable and this is wear some fancy t shirts go the long distance. MOMMA NEEDS… chunky heeled shoes

A great chunky heel sandal (like my favorite Lanvin sandals) are the perfect shoe to carry you from season to season with effortless style!

One thing I learned very early is the importance of chunky heeled shoes. All it took was shredding my favourite stilettos between the wooden slats on my friends deck at a bbq to realise skinny isn’t always best. Chunky heeled shoes give you more surface area to put your weight on so they’re much easier to walk in but they also give a bit of an edge to your look. I am not a fan of mini skirt or mini dresses with a sky high stiletto.. I think it can quickly look tarty and contrived – but pair the same look with chunky heeled shoes and you have a completely different style. Its relaxed, cool, simple yet fashion forward. I also think that chunky heeled shoes transition more easily between seasons. The same shoe you wear in summer with your mini skirts and sundresses can be worn with tights for fall/winter seamlessly. MOMMA NEEDS… pajamas (b/c bedtime should look good too)

Bedtime should look good too!! Time for some great pajamas for both us and our little ones!

There is one area of my wardrobe I need to focus more attention on – my pajamas… You spend a large amount of time out of every day in them and yet I find myself sticking to my husband’s old t’s and underwear…. While this is comfortable and easy, its time for me to grow up and look into getting some real big girl pajamas. My little one looks so adorable in his jammies so, why can’t I? Something soft and comfortable that doesn’t look like it should be used to clean the house… There is nothing quite like a lazy sunday morning eating breakfast in bed and not getting out of our pajamas until noon so they may as well be cute, right? I actually did a photo shoot a little while ago with a celebrity – and it was all sleepwear and I fell in love with all the Eberjey pajamas that I had pulled in for the shoot and it got me thinking… It’s time ladies, time to start paying a bit of attention to the outfit we where the most that only our little ones, husbands and house guests are privy to – pajamas. MOMMA LOVES… fit and flare dresses

Mom and Dad finally get a night out – he gets the keys to the house and we get some alone time!! (PS – don’t worry, he gets to hang with his Nana and Papou!)

My favorite little fit and flare dress is the perfect look for the rare occasion called – date night!

The hour glass silhouette defines femininity and nothing accomplishes this look better than fit and flare dresses. MOMMA LOVES… colorful jackets

I love a great colorful jacket for adding a pop to an otherwise neutral look!

Color is brilliant for the summer months and these jackets will transition perfectly into fall making it a great item to add to your wardrobe right now!

Two of my style favorites are jackets and a pop of color so colorful jackets always capture my attention. I am a fashion girl so I generally stick to a pretty neutral palette of black, white and gray but I have to say, nothing breathes life into a look than an amazing pinch of bright. MOMMA’S UNDER $100… style on budget and on trend

Well, if you don’t want it Max… there’s plenty great things out there for under $100!

My bi-monthly under $100 is all about getting great style on budget that keeps you looking great without breaking the bank. Life is expensive and, for those of us with kids, our wants go way on the back burner in favor of our little one’s needs (and wants), so finding the clothes and accessories we covet without having to pay the big price tags is major. Fabulous style on budget means we get to tick our fashion itch guilt-free!
