One of the greatest feelings is finding looks you love that are both cheap and chic. Everybody loves a deal and everybody loves to look good and these two things do not need to be mutually exclusive! MOMMA NEEDS… slide sandals

While summer is winding down slide sandals are still hot hot hot. While, I’ve never been a big fan of the Birkenstock look, it is, undoubtably a thing. Fortunately, these slide sandals aren’t strictly for the inner hippies – there are many reinventions of these comfy shoes to satisfy those of us who prefer a more modern, slick approach to footwear. Keep trucking in the perfect flat ankle boots for year round style!

I am all about some great flat booties – with skinny jeans or with a little sun dress the look is super chic, simple and comfortable. One wouldn’t ordinarily consider boots for the summer time but these little ankle versions are great all year round! These flat booties are always in style and therefor, a great investment. Where them now, where them later – there aren’t a whole lot of shoes you can really say that about but these ones are a year round favorite. The great thing about the right pair of flat booties is that they polish of your look with ease (they’re super easy to walk in) and style. These are the perfect transitional footwear – they’re not only seasons but they also take you perfectly from a playdate at the park to brunch with friends to and evening out! As the hottest new shoes for the next season are becoming available I have to do my fabulous footwear post which is a long time favorite of mine… The Carrie Bradshaw in me is completely drawn to the most fantastical, aspirational wild and crazy pieces that look more suitable to a museum than the street. Thanks to innovative designers such as Sophia Webster and Charlotte Olympia we can sometimes take the dive and invest in these wearable works of art. MOMMA WANTS… to watch out for watches

They’re very different but I love these watches! Talk about form and function!

I’m someone that’s always on time so I’ve always worn watches. Years ago my husband (then boyfriend) gave me a rolex for Christmas which I absolutely love – its a men’s size so it has the practicality of time telling but feels like a pieces of jewelry. This has always been my go-to but in recent years thanks to the iPhone and not wanting to scratch my baby with it I’ve worn it less and less… The the apple watches came out. I am a sucker for all apple products so, of course I had to have it… Yes it tells time, but I also love the fitness element, this watch was less about the fashion and all about the technology.
