MOMMA LOVES… graphic prints for women and kids

Prints prints prints are everywhere!  Graphic prints, which can be anything from an exact photo print to an abstract illustration, is super popular right now!  The technology designers have now make these graphic prints incredibly real, beautiful and unique.  Whether the print is hyper realistic or a more vague interpretation its almost a way of wearing art.  Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy has been sending these graphic prints down the runway for several years now and those designs instantly become the must haves for every fashionista and Mary Katrantzou became and instant designer when she first debuted enormous jewelry prints in her debut collection.  Whether you call it, trompe l’oeil, photo print, graphic prints – one thing is for sure – these printed pieces are attention grabbing, special and on every one’s must have list. Of course, our children have been wearing graphic prints all along begging the question of whether the appeal of a poppy print comes from our childhood and who’s influencing who?  Graphic prints are fierce, fabulous and fun – they can be referential, exquisite, ironic or just humorous.  Regardless, they are statement pieces and something special that everyone should have in their closet.  Remember, the key with pulling off a crazy print is to keep everything else simple – one of these stunning printed pencil skirts with a  classic black tee and blazer for the office, or one of these fun graphic print tops with jeans to the park… Here are some of my favorite graphic prints from us and our little ones…
