MATERNITY MONDAY… non maternity clothes for pregnancy

I’ve actually done this post before but I think its one I will do periodically because its often how I dressed during my pregnancy. I love clothes and when I buy clothes I like to consider my purchases investments – I like to buy classic things I can wear for years – not just a season… Of course, when you’re pregnant this is not the easiest task – so I I wanted to share some great non maternity clothes for pregnancy. First, look for clothes that have stretch, ruching, or just some extra room. You may even have tops that a re a bit flawy in your wardrobe already which you might be able to wear throughout pregnancy layered over a maternity tank (which will have the extra length you will need to cover the bump) or even layering a dress over leggings… The great thing about non maternity clothes for pregnancy is you can wear them through all stages – while you’re still trying for baby, for the first few months when you’re not showing, in the third trimester when you can’t see your feet anymore, those months after baby where you’re nowhere near your pre-baby body and even when you have your old body back again! A great way to style your bump can often be in non maternity clothes – you just need to know what to look for – and I’m hear to give you some suggestions!

The age old question of what to wear when you’re expecting has plagued women since the beginning of time. How to dress a body that changes every day. Back in our mom’s day the options were so limited they often just gave into wearing a mumu for much of pregnancy. Today, it is quite a different story – options are no where near limited – in fact its almost hard to narrow down the best maternity clothes… But here I am, week after week, sharing some amazing style options for those growing baby bumps! MATERNITY MONDAY – best maternity clothes to start the new year right!

2014 is upon us and for some of us out there (not me!) 2014 will be the year our little one’s grace us with their presence… Until they make their appearance, they are nestled in that little bump of yours – a bump that you might be struggling to dress. My advice when it comes to maternity clothes – keep it simple and comfortable. There are so many great options out there for expectant moms that you can look chic and pulled together regardless of your growing mid section. Maternity Monday is my chance to share with you the best maternity clothes out there to keep you looking like yourself when that’s the last thing you feel like! MATERNITY MONDAY – best diaper bags and they look great too!

Baby on board? Well, whether your bundle of joy is still cooking or has already arrived one thing is for sure – you need a diaper bag!! Why is a diaper bag different from other bags? Well, its go compartments for bottles, is wipeable (for all the milk spills and other messes that come with baby), it usually comes with a changing pad (trust me – you need this) and it fits everything you need for an outing with your little one! One of the first things I bought when I found out I was expecting was my Gucci diaper bag.
